Getting God Involved!
The Lord has been good! Yesterday I started my new job! I am so excited, Bob. I am teaching second grade in a Christian School. And you were right..... it's not like working at all! This is exactly what I love to do. I couldn't wait to share with you and the group how the Lord has blessed me. Thank you so much for all the support and encouragement during my months of unemployment! The In Between Jobs Support Group has meant so much to me. I praise God for putting you in my path. Each week I was so encouraged and uplifted by the meetings. The practical information like how to write a resume, a cover letter and practicing interview questions was extremely valuable. What I appreciated the most was the Christian Fellowship and the Bible Study each week. When you're facing a challenge it's easy to take your eyes off the Lord and focus on yourself, but the "Tweeners" group always put the focus back on the LORD where it belonged. I'd leave the class each week refreshed and encouraged in the Lord. I will continue to pray for you and the group always! In Christ! Donna

Thank you for your dedication to the Body of Christ - you are a blessing!!! What a blessing! God used the In Between class to bless me with a new job. I only got to attend one class and it just happened to be the day that Vickie from Florida Default Law Group was there. I was not on the email list, so I was unaware that she was coming. But God knew and he opened up a door for me, as HE has for so many others. I started with FDLG on Monday. I will continue to pray for our group - because our Heavenly Father is so very faithful. To the other members of the class please continue to trust God, HE will not let us down. Linda

Just wanted to let everyone know the good news. God said it's time! The person I interviewed with this week called and asked if I could start to work Monday morning. I will be starting to work Monday morning at Keifer's Village Jewels in Dade City. Thank you all for being there for me and praying that employment will come soon. It did, and I'm excited that I found a job close to home that's professional, and one that I will enjoy. I can't say enough about the Tweener group. The Tweener group and my faith in God are the only two things that helped me find my career position that I'm in now. I was out of work for almost two years, with dead end jobs for that time period. However, I came to one Tweener meeting and tried prayer; it resolved all my issues with my career hunt. I'm not a real religious person, but I gave the group a chance. It was the best decision I made. I kept praying, and using the suggestions, interview techniques. Chad

Tweeners has been a very welcome networking opportunity for me while I am seeking employment, more so than the networking groups that are not faith based. I believe that the camaraderie within our group is strong, and giving thanks to God, and handing this difficult time over to God is important to remember - Bob and Bob keep our eyes fixed on this offering every week! Being a part of the Between Jobs program has made a great help to me, it has allowed me to be able to deal with not having a job, how to search for jobs as well as preparing my resume and interview. I have received so much support from this group, your family and friends really don't realize the stress you have to deal with when you are going through such a turmoil as this but being around people that are going through the same things helps me to get through from week to week. I am grateful to the young lady that introduced me to this group and I greatly appreciate all the help, attention and support this group has given me. Thanks and to God be the Glory. Doris
