Joe Jones is the Founder and Executive Director of Career Ministries. 

His company equips churches to help their job seeking members by supplying job search training, weekly support groups, and the facilitator training to enable a church to offer effective faith based programs that get their members back to work so they can support their families and their church.

He is a 57 year old PK (preacher’s kid) with 20+ years of human resource training and development experience. Joe has trained thousands of persons and managed the training function at three national trade associations. He developed several national award winning programs that have resulted in over 5,000 new jobs, and 15,000 certifications.

For the past six years, as the managing director of a national consortium of associations, Joe co-developed a 650 hour curriculum, national certification program, and complete career path for students.

He has counseled at least 140 adults seeking new careers each year since 2002. Joe has hired, trained and coached hundreds of training facilitators across the US. The programs he developed while leading the training department at one association have been licensed and delivered at over 160 community colleges and vocational schools.

Joe is the starter and supporting member of a dozen career ministry groups in Florida and nationally. He has been featured on The Christian Television Network, WTBN Christian radio, The Internet Job Network, and in numerous newspaper articles. 

His leadership credentials include being the president of the American Society for Training and Development, Suncoast chapter, and the president of the National Speakers Association, Central Florida chapter.

As Vice President of Business Development at the top customer relations training company in the US, Joe helped the company grow over 243% within a five year period.

He has worked for associations, the US government, corporations, and owned his own business, so he knows what it takes to be hired, fired, upsized, right sized, and capsized, in today’s fast paced, competitive, technological world!
